The subject of his doctoral thesis was “Metaphor, Time and Narrative: Paul Ricoeur’s Philosophy of Language and Literary Hermeneutics.” It was a philosophical inquiry about the nature of language and the development of religious hermeneutics to the literary studies. It showed the way how a purely religious discipline legitimately came to be associated with literary hermeneutics. The thesis was broadly oriented towards Paul Ricoeur’s hermeneutics of suspicion.

"The Prophets of Hope and Survival in the Absurdities of Mid-20th Century French Plays." The whole phenomenon of existential discourse starts from the rejection of the validity of general concepts i. e. ‘goodness’ or ‘beauty’. In idealistic philosophy these concepts were regarded as real, therefore, anything that was assumed good or beautiful, it were a reflection, a particle of ‘good’ or the ‘beautiful’, the eternal essence based on the Platonic ideals.
