Interest Area and Specialization:

Demography
h Demography is the core area of my research because I did my Ph.D on this specific area. Demography is the
study about geographic distribution of human populations. It studies about the size and composition of the
population. In this area of economics, we study and research about the fertility, mortality-child mortality,
migration etc. and changes of population due to the change of these parameters. Rapid increase in the
population become a serious problem and more research should be done in this area is the need of the day

Women Study

h Research on different issues related to women is my most important area of interest. My focus of study
always be on the three specific dimensions –Safety issues, Health problems and Education of the women.
In India especially in the weaker sections of the society, women deprived from the basic health facilities,
and she is the most neglected person in the household so it’s a need of the time to focus on these issues
and do more and more study relate to women. Along with this another interest area has been The Women
Empowerment specially in India.

Socio-Economic Issues
h The other important area of interest and research for me is many socio-economic issues which affect our
society very much and get a negative impact on each citizen of the society. Some important socio-economic
issues are societal problems, environmental degradation, economy activities, societal behaviour, problem of
poverty, lack of education, rapid increment of population, unemployment, increasing corruption etc.
h COVID-19 Pandemic
h A new area of research has open after 2020 - ‘COVID-19 Pandemic’. There is so many aspects of COVID-19
on which thousands of researches will be done in coming years. Recently a project has approved for three
years on the impact of covid-19 by the Higher Education Council of Research & Development department of
Uttar Pradesh. Work is going on this project.
