Dr Amit Kumar Verma

Interest Area and Specialization:
h A renowned Gold Medalist academician and researcher working in Dept of Pharmacy,
MJP Rohilkhand University since 2007. He was merit holder during B.Pharm. He did
his postgraduation (M.Pharm) in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Manipal College of
Pharmaceutical Sciences (MCOPS) Manipal, Karnataka. He had taken PG project training
at Central Drug Research Institute (CDRI) Lucknow. The research topic of his Ph.D. was on Biopolymer
Chemistry. His research interest include Herbal Formulation Development, Synthesis of molecules having
pharmacological activity and application of Artificial Intelligence in healthcare. He has produced many
patents out of his interest research area. He has published Six books on COVID-19 and running Research
project on COVID-19. He is certified Innovation Ambassador of MJP Rohilkhand University and has taken
‘Innovation Ambassador’ training from Innovation Cell, IIC- Ministry of Education, New Delhi and therefore
much interested in mentoring Startup and Entrepreneurship development.
