h New drug candidates are being discovered time to time. There is always requirement of
development of dosage forms which have good bioavailability and provide site specific
delivery also. Hence there is involvement in doing research in “drug delivery systems” and
using of plasma/body fluid concentration in estimation of pharmaceutical parameters.
h Development of improved drug delivery system which will provide safe and more efficacious dosage form
in treatment of diseases of mankind is thus the aim of research. Also keen in developing nanotechnology
based formulations which will have improved therapeutic activity and will undergo targeting also. As plants
are mines of therapeutic agents interest has been generated in doing research in evaluating and formulating
plant products having cardio protective activity, immunomodulatory activity and anticancer effect.
