Vice Chancellor's Message
The research is a scholarly and creative endeavor of faculty and students leading to innovations and development in any university. The output of the research and development (R&D) contributes towards academic excellence. However, in a university setup, nurturing and promoting research excellence through faculty and student-driven research is a very challenging job. To cope up with this challenging task, the Directorate of Research (DoR) has been established by the Executive Council of the University in its meeting dated 08/12/2020. The DoR is expected to play an important role in providing focused guidance and coordinated research efforts of various faculties of the university campus and affiliated colleges. The Directorate also encouraging the faculty to attract external research funding by providing linkages and collaborative support and streamlining the procedural guidelines. It is expected that DoR will work as a single-window system for timely and effective action to promote quality research in the university campus and affiliated colleges.
I am hopeful that DoR will deliver fully to its proposed objectives and will enhance the academic-cum-research environment of the university.
