h Art is the Highest and Sharpest Imagination of the Human mind. Indian Art is such an Art
Which has taken many possibilities in itself. The cultural experiences religious ideas and
ideals of this country are considered to have Contributed Significantly to the development of Indian Art.
Goddess Lakshmi and her main forms have a very Important Place in Ancient Indian Religious Consciousness
in every hindu family. Goddess Lakshmi is Worshiped with great enthusiasm giving wealth glory and opulence.
In Indian Art we get an understanding about Goddess Lakshmi and her Various forms, methods of worship
vehicles and symbals.
h I have completed my Ph.D. on an analytical study of the notations of Lakshmi and its various forms in ancient
Indian Art.The research paper published by me is based on the various forms of Goddess Lakshmi in Indian
Art. I am trying to find the Religious, Philosophical, Cultural and Socio Economic elements reflected in various
periods of Ancient Indian History under Indian Art and to know the then Religious mental consciousness of
the public and present. I am doing my research work on this.
