          Interest Area and Specialization:

          h Magnetohydrodynamics, Bio-fluid dynamics
h Magnetohydrodynamics(MHD) is the study of electrically conducting fluids in the presence
of magnetic field. The central point of MHD theory is that conductive fluids can support
             magnetic fields.
h The presence of magnetic fields leads to forces that in turn act on the fluid itself, thereby potentially altering
the topology and strength of the magnetic fields themselves.
h The effect of MHD can be observed in several natural and artificial flows. MHD finds a wide range of
applications in Biomedical engineering such as magnetic drug targeting, cell death by hyperthermia, cancer
tumor treatment etc. On the other hand, Blood is a vital fluid which plays an important role in the functions of
body. Due to the presence of hemoglobin, blood is regarded as a magnetic fluid. Because of this reason, blood
flow problems have gained much importance in recent years.
h Nanoparticles are submicroscopic sized particles. Generally, their diameter ranges from 1nm to 100 nm. They
exhibit different physical and chemical properties to their material counterpart. Due to their extraordinary
properties, they have become a centre of research in many areas.
h Carbon nanotubes (CNTS) are nanoparticles made up of roll of graphene sheets. CNTS possess remarkable
electrical conductivity, exceptional tensile strength and thermal conductivity. Carbon nanotubes when mixed
in some base fluid, forms nanofluid. The addition of CNTS in base fluid completely changes the properties of
fluid. Under MHD, blood flow with CNTS has numerous applications in multidisciplinary fields.
h The study of nanofluids using CNTS and blood is an open and active area of research due to its wide
applications in engineering as well as science.
